According to tabloid newspaper reports, Tsuji Nozomi is two months pregnant and will be getting married on June 17th. The father/husband-to-be is said to be Sugiura Takayasu, 26, an actor who starred in the TV show "Ultraman Cosmos" during 2001/2002. Tsuji had recently been forced to take time off due to illness, and it's unknown if she was aware of her condition at the time.

Tsuji Nozomi joined the Hello! Project in 2000 as part of Morning Musume's fourth generation, and found great success as part of Minimoni. She was known as part of the "Top Two" with Kago Ai, and they graduated together in 2005 to concentrate on their own duo "W". Kago was released by the company in March after being caught in a relationship with an older man while on suspension for under-age smoking.

Tsuji is scheduled to release a version of "Koko ni Iruzee!" on the 16th of May as a tie-in to the anime Robby & Kerobby, where she voices a character. She had also just recently formed and started promoting a new non-H!P unit, "Gyaruru", with Tokito Ami and Gal Sone, and their first single was due to be released on June 20th.

An official statement has not yet been made by the company.
