Biography
The original Hello! Project member, Heike was the winner of the audition where the five runners up famously became Morning Musume. Ironically, she never achieved anywhere near the success of the "losers" group, and left the Hello! Project in 2002.
In 2005, she returned on an independent label, now calling herself just "Michiyo".
In March 2007, she announced on her website that she was pregnant, and had married the father of her baby.
