Biography

Original member, long time leader, and longest serving member of Morning Musume, Iida Kaori graduated from the group in 2005 to concentrate on her solo career.

At the start of July 2007, it was announced that she had fallen pregnant, and would be getting married. The marriage papers were filed soon after, and she started maternity leave at the end of the Morning Musume Tanjou 10nen Kinentai tour.

She gave birth to a boy on the 22nd of January 2008, and will decide on her future at a later date.
