Biography

One of the oldest members, Atsuko is also probably the most experienced, having had an idol career before joining the Hello! Project.

In the early 90's, she was part of "Osaka Performance Doll", sister group to "Tokyo Performance Doll" who were a forerunner for Morning Musume.

In 1999, Atsuko joined the Hello! Project as part of "Taiyo to Ciscomoon" (later renamed "T&C Bomber"). Although the rest of the group left around a year later, she remained in the company providing backing vocals, MCing, and helping to train the younger girls in how to be an idol.

Atsuko graduated from the Hello! Project with the Elder Club in March 2009. On the 30th of October 2009 it was announced that her contract with Up-Front had ended.
