Biography

Junjun was a finalist in the "2006 Super Girl Audition" in Beijing around the same time as the Happy 8 auditions were being held.

Tsunku travelled to China looking for new talent, and he re-auditioned all of the losing finalists before choosing Junjun.

She became a surprise addition to Morning Musume's 8th generation along with Linlin, a younger Chinese girl who had been training as a Hello! Project Egg.

They debuted as part of the group with "Onna ni Sachi Are" in July 2007.
