Biography

The only girl chosen after a long search for the 7th generation of Morning Musume, Koharu was dubbed the "Miracle Member" by producer Tsunku.

Koharu went on to huge success as the star of the anime "Kirarin Revolution". Her solo hit "Balalaika" sold more then any other Hello! Project release in 2006, and she released multiple singles, albums, and photobooks.

Koharu graduated from Morning Musume and the Hello! Project on December 6, 2009. She remains under the Up-Front agency, and continues to appear on the television show Oha-star.
