Biography

Yui joined the Hello! Project from the Hello! Project Eggs auditions in 2004. Rather then join the other Eggs, she was put into the three-girl unit v-u-den.

She regularly appeared with the rest of the group on Hello! Morning, where she became known for her weird personality and ample cleavage, and has gone on to regularly appear on various TV shows as a talent. After graduating along with the Elder Club, she continued working as leader of Up Front Kansai.

On the 23rd June 2010 it was announced that she would be retiring from show business when her contract expired on the 30th of June. Yui is planning to study to work in the beauty industry.
