Biography

Fourth generation Morning Musume member. Tsuji was a big part of "little girl" group Minimoni with ever-present accomplice Kago Ai. They joined Momusu together in 2000, and graduated together in 2004 to concentrate of their duo unit "W".

After Kago was suspended for underage smoking in February 2006, Tsuji was forced to go it alone for the first time. While waiting for Kago's return, she carved out a position for herself as a "variety idol", regularly appearing on TV shows and quizzes.

Kago was released after another scandal in March 2007, and Tsuji started moving with a vocal role and character single for anime "Robby & Kerobby", plus a position in new TNX unit "Gyaruru".

However, in May 2007 she announced that she was two months pregnant and getting married on her 20th birthday, and would therefore have to pull out of all her current commitments.

Her daughter, Sugiura Noa (杉浦希空), was born on the 26th of November 2007.

Tsuji remained a non-active part of the Hello! Project, and eventually returned to take part in the Elder Club graduation concerts.
